AndalucíaPeople es la guía inteligente y social de sitios de ocio de Andalucía. Disponemos de cientos de sitios geolocalizados y categorizados en más de 15 tipos distintos, desde bares o restaurantes hasta pubs o cines.

What purpose was it created for? Initially it begun in Granada to provide a useful tool to share the location of those bars and interesting places that the city offers, but gradually has expanded to offer new services and tools to become a useful guide to the scope of all.

What added value offers compared to other similar sites? AndalucíaPeople offers two main aspects to any other leisure guide. The first is that is completely independent. Anyone can register for free and providing new work places and giving their subjective view of them completely free.
In addition, we offer a personalized recommendation system, which according to your tastes, the web is able to offer different results that may be of your interest.

How many people are part of the project? Although the project is completely open and free to the cooperation of any person, is currently managed by Manuel Martin, a computer engineer from the University of Granada.

How to share the tasks? Registered users are able to add new sites, give their opinion, vote or upload photos. The administrator is responsible for maintenance and improvements of the web as well as establishing partnerships with other related projects. For example, we are provided GranadaZoom events and SOL.com hotels, a reservation center that operates from Sevilla.

What type of user you are heading? While it is a website for all audiences, the most active people tend to be young people between 18 and 30 years, many of them college students, who are the most moving in a city like Granada.

What goals have you set? The aim of AndalucíaPeople is to grow in quantity and especially quality content, so that anyone inside or outside of Andalusia it easy and quick to use our services either through a computer or mobile applications.

What criteria do you follow to select the content? We want the content to bring users to be truthful, for this we have a reporting system of errors and abuses of the system, so we can correct irregularities in the shortest time possible.

How do you see the future of the network in your area? We believe it is a project that will continue to grow every day, more even with the latest generation of mobile devices that incorporate internet connection and GPS, so that we can provide results depending on the individual's position in real time. It's something exciting and that was unthinkable a few years ago.
